About the Author

Erik Island studied Illustration & Animation at the

Columbus College of Art & Design in Columbus, OH.

Later he studied Film & Video Production at The Academy of Art

in San Francisco, spending over ten years working on documentaries,

music videos and independent films across the hills of San Francisco

and the valleys of Los Angeles.

Erik developed his Photoshop chops illustrating college textbooks

for McGraw-Hill for several years before concentrating on his own work.

Erik continues to create art and collaborate with friends on multimedia projects

in his hometown of Chicago, IL.

Jingles the Elephant Saves Christmas© is his first published book.

His new books, 'You Don't Know Zita!' 
'The Bluebird and the Moosehead' and

'You're Full of Pickles' are in production for publication in 2018.
